Obituary Send Flowers
Mr. William C. Rice, Jr. (Bill), age 74 of Shady Street, Toccoa, GA passed away Wednesday, October 4, 2017 at Stephens County Hospital following a brief illness. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 7, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at the Friendship Baptist Church, Sage Street, Toccoa, GA, with Pastor Damion Hutchins officiating.  Interment will follow in the Toccoa City Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 6-7:00 p.m. Friday, October 6, 2017 at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make donations to the Friendship Baptist Church, Toccoa GA.

    Sorry I could not be a part in Mr. Rice's going home services. Knowing him for awhile, was a wonderful experience. He and his band, and other dedications given to Toccoa, GA Community....outstanding job...such dedications was what made him a pillar of productivity for all.     I'm sorry to hear about your loss. May you find strength and comfort from the words of Psalms 34:18. It reads: “Jehovah is close to the brokenhearted; He saves those who are crushed in spirit." Our loving God is there for us if we ask for his help (1 John 5:14). He didn't intend for us to grow old and die. He thus has made the SURE promise of a resurrection RIGHT HERE ON EARTH when it is restored to a beautiful paradise (Psalms 37:9-11, 29; Acts 24:15; Isaiah 55;11).
