6 For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand. 7 I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: 8 Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing. 9 Do thy diligence to come shortly unto me:

My prayers and heartfelt sympathy for Mr. Madison's family. I had the privilege of having him for a principal at the Little Rock Learning Center for several years. He was a very kind and caring principal to the children and the staff.

To The Grieving Family of Mr. Ulysses Madison////// A message of Solace at The Time of Your Lost of a Loved One………… Many Wonder: What Happens to Us When We Die? WHY THE QUESTION ARISES: Most of the world’s religions teach that something inside a person continues living after death. Some hold that the dead can harm the living or that God punishes the wicked by condemning them to eternal torment in a fiery hell. WHAT THE BIBLE TEACHES: At death, humans cease to exist. “The dead know nothing at all,” states Ecclesiastes 9:5. Since the dead cannot know, feel, or experience anything, they cannot harm—or help—the living.—Psalm 146:3, 4. It is my sincere hope that these words/this knowledge helps to sustain you, your family during your Bereavement… See also Genesis 3:19 and Ecclesiastes 9:6, 10

Please accept our deepest sympathy. It surely is a very difficult time; but we both hope you can find some comfort in the words of Psalms 34:18 which reads: “Jehovah is close to the brokenhearted; He saves those who are crushed in spirit." Yes, you can rely completely on our Loving God. He also has made the SURE promise of a resurrection right HERE ON EARTH when it is restored to a beautiful paradise (Acts 24:15; Psalms 37:9-11, 29, Isaiah 55:11). Then death will be gone forever (Isaiah 25:8; Revelation 21:3,4) Going online at JW.ORG, you will be able to find out more about this resurrection on earth and as well as videos. Why not find out for yourself.
