We’re so sorry to hear about your recent loss. It surely is a very difficult time; but we both hope you can find some comfort in the words of Nahum 1:7 which reads: "Jehovah is good, a stronghold in the day of distress. He is mindful of those seeking refuge in him." Yes, you can rely completely on our Loving God. He also has made the SURE promise of a resurrection right HERE ON EARTH when it is restored to a beautiful paradise (Acts 24:15; Psalms 37:9-11, 29, Isaiah 55:11). Then death will be gone forever (Isaiah 25:8; Revelation 21:3,4) Going online at JW.ORG, We have found great articles as well as videos about this resurrection. Your can find out for yourself.

I would like to offer my condolences for your loss. I hope you will find comfort in knowing that Jehovah, the God of all comfort, will soon eliminate all grief and provide permanent consolation when “all those in the memorial tombs will hear [Christ’s] voice and come out”! (John 5:28, 29) God promises that “he will do away with death forever, and the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will wipe away the tears from all faces.” (Isa. 25:8) Then, instead of having to “weep with those who weep,” all earth’s inhabitants will “rejoice with those who rejoice.”?—Rom. 12:15.

I'd pass Mr. Young on a near daily basis when taking a shortcut up to the store. Always a friendly wave and hello. Occasionally I'd just sit with him, smoke a cigarette, and just talk about whatever. A good man who served his country and has left us too soon. Mr. Michael Young, I salute you.

To lose a loved one is definitely a heartbreaker. Soon we will not have to experience this type of pain. This is one of many promises our Heavenly Father Jehovah God gives us in his word the Bible in Revelation 21:3, 4. As we look forward to this time of no suffering Jehovah also promises of a resurrection in Acts 24:15. I hope that these words may bring some comfort to the Young family.
