To the Singleton family, my deepest sympathies to you. I am very sorry for your loss. God's original purpose for humankind was to live forever in Paradise on a beautiful earth. Death was not part of that original purpose. Unfortunately, in this world we live in, it is all too common to lose our loved ones in death, and it hurts. However, we won't hurt for long. John 5:28, 29 says, "Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice, and come out." What this can mean for you is a real hope of being reunited with your dear loved ones. No doubt, that's a promise that you would like to see fulfilled.

I would like to offer my condolences for your loss. I hope you will find comfort in knowing that Jehovah, the God of all comfort, will soon eliminate all grief and provide permanent consolation when “all those in the memorial tombs will hear [Christ’s] voice and come out”! (John 5:28, 29) God promises that “he will do away with death forever, and the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will wipe away the tears from all faces.” (Isa. 25:8) Then, instead of having to “weep with those who weep,” all earth’s inhabitants will “rejoice with those who rejoice.”?—Rom. 12:15.

To family and friends my deepest sympathy for the loss of your loved one. No one knows the pain and hurt that you now have at this most difficult time. Jesus promised that there's going to be a resurrection of all those in the grave and they will hear his voice and come out. John 5:28,29 Also at John 11:25 Jesus said "I am the resurrection and the life, he that exercises faith in me though he dies will come to life again." At Isaiah 25:8 Jehovah God (Psalms 83:18) says he will swallow up death forever. To learn more about God's promises and the resurrection hope, please visit www.jw.org I hope you will find some comfort in the scriptures.

My thoughts are with you and the family and how death robs us of our loved ones. Jehovah God has promised to remove death, sickness, and pain from the earth and reunite us with our loved one on a cleansed earth in the future. (Revelation 21:4; John 5:28,29; John 17:3; Psalms 83:18)  In the meantime you can be sure that God understands how you feel now! The Bible assures us: "He is healing the brokenhearted ones, And is binding up there painful spots." Psalms 147:3 More encouragement can be found on website jw.org

Our sincere condolences to you on the loss of your loved one. Words cannot express the sorrow you’re feeling at this time. Or the pain your heart still feel as the years have passed since your loved one has died. I too have lost loved ones and this promise found in God’s Word that in the near future, death along with the pain and sorrow will soon be gone in the near future has brought me comfort. I hope this will bring you a measure of comfort too. Isaiah 25:8 - He (God)will swallow up death forever, and the Sovereign Lord Jehovah (God’s name)will wipe away the tears from all faces. http://www.jw.org/en/publications/books/dead-live-again-tract/dead-live-again/
