Fannie Lou " Ruby Kate" Curry
January 11, 1934 - October 30, 2017

Columbus, GA- Mrs. Fannie Lou Curry 83, of Columbus, Georgia was called home to be with her Lord and Savior on October 30, 2017 at Rivertowne Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Funeral services will be 1:00PM Saturday, November 4, 2017 at Mountain Hill Missionary Baptist Church, Hamilton, Georgia with the Pastor Rev. Timothy Maddox officiating. Interment will follow at the church cemetery according to Hill-Watson-People's Funeral Service LLC, 1605 3rd Avenue, Columbus, phone:706-327-9293. Visitation will be today, Friday from 1:00PM-6:00PM at the funeral home. Mrs. Curry was born January 11, 1934 in West Point, Georgia to the late JC Johnson and Tossie Mae Talley. She confessed Christ at an early age and joined Mountain Hill Baptist Church, where she served faithfully until her health declined. Fannie was preceded in death by her husband Hubert Curry, two sisters, Daisy Adams and Gladys Gunn, three brothers, Sylvester Johnson, Charles Talley and Eugene Johnson. She leaves to cherish her memories two godchildren, Choici(Dantavius) Lawrence-Walker, Columbus, GA and Jonathan(Anita)Lawrence, Midland, GA; 5 brothers, Dave Talley and David Talley both of Columbus, GA, James(Mary)Johnson, Stone Mountain, GA, Arthur(Coetha)Johnson, Pine Mountain, GA and Albert Johnson, LaGrange, GA; two sisters, Carrie Johnson, Atlanta, GA and Catherine McGruder, Pine Mountain, GA; three sisters in law, Ossie Talley and Vera Hall both of Hamilton, GA and Nettie Walker, Waverly Hall, GA; a devoted niece, Teresa(Titus)Roberson and nephew that was dear to her heart, Dave Talley, Jr. ; two devoted cousins, Betty Lawrence and Lunelle Hardaway and a host of other nieces, nephews, family members and friends
