Dear Farrar family, please accept my deepest sympathies. I am very sorry for your loss. Losing a loved one in death can leave us with feelings of sorrow and grief. But there is a beautiful hope we can look forward to. Isaiah 25:8 says, "He will swallow up death forever, and the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will wipe away the tears from all faces." So not only will Almighty God eliminate death, but he will remove the feelings of sadness that come from losing someone we love, and replace those feelings with comfort and hope. Our sincere condolences to you on the loss of your loved one. Words cannot express the sorrow you’re feeling at this time. Or the pain your heart still feel as the years have passed since your loved one has died. I too have lost loved ones and this promise found in God’s Word that in the near future, death along with the pain and sorrow will soon be gone in the near future has brought me comfort. I hope this will bring you a measure of comfort too. Isaiah 25:8 - He (God)will swallow up death forever, and the Sovereign Lord Jehovah (God’s name)will wipe away the tears from all faces.
