Our sincere condolences to you on the loss of your loved one. Words cannot express the sorrow you’re feeling at this time. Or the pain your heart still feel as the years have passed since your loved one has died. I too have lost loved ones and this promise found in God’s Word that in the near future, death along with the pain and sorrow will soon be gone in the near future has brought me comfort. I hope this will bring you a measure of comfort too. Isaiah 25:8 - He (God)will swallow up death forever, and the Sovereign Lord Jehovah (God’s name)will wipe away the tears from all faces. http://www.jw.org/en/publications/books/dead-live-again-tract/dead-live-again/

Dear Cotton family, I send you my sincere sympathies for the loss of your dear loved one Johnny. Losing someone we love in death is a difficult event to endure. God's Word has provided a comforting hope for the future, for our loved ones whom we have loss in death. John 5:28,29 says, "Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out." What this can mean for you is a real hope of being reunited with your dear loved ones. This reunion will take place in a beautiful Paradise on earth, where we'll be able to fully experience the words "death will be no more." (Revelation 21:4;Psalm 37:11,29)

With heartfelt sympathy for your loss. May you find comfort in God's Word of promise, the bible, as God promises to restore life to those lost in death. He did not purpose man to die but rather to live forever. Please be assured that God, who cannot lie, will fulfill his promises. You can see your loved one again where he will have the prospect of living forever in perfect health. (Acts 24:15) To learn more visit www.jw.org
