Shonda & Reginald, I extend my deepest sympathy in the expiring of your mother and one of my dearest friend. I will always cherish the memories of our times in Albany, and recently when I reconnected with her after learning she had moved to Nashville. May God keep you both.

To the Addy Family I would like to take this time to express my condolences to the entire family. We are sorry to hear about the passing of Evalene Addy. Our thoughts and prayers are with everyone during this time of great sadness. May the family and friends remember this wonderful promise that God has revealed to His earthly family. He tells us that the days are just ahead of us when He will soon use His great powers to restore life back to those who have died. Yes only God can make such a promise and then carry it out. ( John 5:28-29) This promise is more then a mere pipe dream; it will become reality. Our loving Creator wants everyone to have strong faith in this promise. So He has preserved nine account in the bible that helps us to have strong faith in His personal promise. The accounts also helps us to draw true comfort from the scriptures until this arrangement takes place. Here is just one such example recorded at Acts 9:36-42. May we please encourage all to take the time to see how the verses apply to Evalene, and to billions of others who will have their lives restored back to them. Now think about what the reunion of Evalene and others will be like when her life is restored back to her. She now will be welcomed back from the grave with those who she had left behind. Oh what a grand time period this will prove to be. So please draw comfort from the scriptures. Yes remember God personal promise to us. Remember that when God makes a promise it becomes reality. For God does not lie. ( Titus 1:2)

Accept our sincere condolences. May you find some comfort in the words of 2 Corinthians 1:3, 4 which reads: "3 Praised be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of tender mercies and the God of all comfort, 4 who comforts us in all our trials" Yes, we can ask for help and rely on God. He also has made the SURE promise of a resurrection RIGHT HERE ON EARTH when it is restored to a beautiful paradise. (Acts 24:15; Psalms 37:9-11, 29). Be confident that this is SURE to happen because Isaiah 55:11 ensures us of this. Find out more online at JW.ORG

To the family and friends of the deceased, Please accept my sincere condolences for your loss. Many have found true comfort from the pages of God's word the Bible (2 Corinthians 1:3-5}. The Bible tells us why we die (Genesis 2:16, 17; Romans 5:12) the condition of the dead (Ecclesiastes 9:5) and that we can be reunited with our loved ones (Acts 24:15). The Bible also tells us where this happy event will take place (Psalm 37:29; 115:16). The promise from the God of the Bible Jehovah (Psalm 83:18) found at Revelation 21:3, 4 gives us the assurance that death will be no more. At John 17:3 Jesus tells us the benefit of reading and studying the Bible. He also said at John 8:32 “and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free". Please visit JW.org to learn what the Bible really teaches.

I'm sorry to hear about your recent loss. May you find strength from the words of Psalms 46:1 which reads: "God is our refuge and strength, A help that is readily found in times of distress." What a loving God who cares about each one of us. He didn't intend for us to grow old and die. He thus has made the SURE promise of a resurrection right here on earth when it is restored to a beautiful paradise (Psalms 37:9-11, 29; Acts 24:15; Isaiah 55;11). Can you see yourself welcoming back to life your loved ones? What a joy it will bring all of us. You can go online to JW.ORG and find out more about this resurrection.
