Billie Jeanne Wilson, 55, of 110 Anne Neely Drive, Gastonia North Carolina was born May 17, 1962 in Gaston County, North Carolina and departed this life on Friday, December 8, 2017 at Pineville Rehabilitation and Living Center in Pineville, North Carolina.  She was the daughter of the late Reverend Harry Dean and Ruby Floyd Wilson.

She was a member of Mt Pisgah Baptist Church, Gastonia, North Carolina where she served on the kitchen committee.

Billie attended Lingerfeldt Elementary, Ashley Junior High, Hunter Huss High Schools, all in Gastonia.  Billie had a very low-key, laid back personality and never tried to call attention to herself.  She will be remembered as a quiet, private, down-to-earth and independent person.  She had a direct, humorous manner of speaking. She accumulated many friends over the course of her life, and gave no-one a reason to think of her as an enemy.  Billie's life was one of "Live and let live."

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one sibling, Scott Eugene, who passed away before she was born; grandparents, Palmer and Rosa Floyd and Robert and Lucille Wilson; aunts, Edna "Sue" Floyd and Ruby Heard; uncles, William "Pete" and Fred Floyd, Charles, Ray, Herman, John, and Leonard Wilson.

She leaves to cherish precious memories her daughter, Chasity Wilson; grandsons, Rontravis, Ronkevius, Raheem, Chastain, and Christopher all of Concord, N.C.; sisters, Shirley Buskey (Robert) of Brooklyn, NY,  Shauna Robinson of Charlotte, N.C. and Chantrelle Brice (James) of Gastonia, N.C.; nephews, Theron Wilson of Gastonia, N.C. and Ferman Patterson Jr of Charlotte, N.C.; nieces, Shameka Patterson of Dallas N.C., Latoya and Jere Patterson of Charlotte, N.C. and Gracyn Brice of Gastonia, N.C.; aunts, Dorothy Duff (Jimmy), Shirley Wilkes Floyd, Wilma Floyd, Mamie Wilson, and Betty Robinson Wilson all of Gastonia, N.C.; uncles, Wade Floyd (Helen), Don Wilson (Debra) and David Wilson all of Gastonia, N.C. and Sam Heard of Jacksonville, N.C.;  a host of cousins, other close relatives and dear friends.

We will all miss Billie.
Some of the laughter has gone out of all of our lives.

chasity, accept my sincere condolences. May you find some comfort in the words of Psalms 34:18 which reads: " Jehovah is close to the brokenhearted; He saves those who are crushed in spirit " Yes, we can ask for help and rely on God. He also has made the sure promise of a resurrection right here on earth when it is restored to a beautiful paradise. (Acts 24:15; Psalms 37:9-11, 29). Be confident that this is SURE to happen because Isaiah 55:11 ensures us if this. Find out more online at JW.ORG
