We deeply feel for what you and the family are going through. At times, there isn't much that can soothe the pain this grief brings, but you may find some comfort in the words of Psalms 9:9 which reads: "Jehovah will become a secure refuge for the oppressed, A secure refuge in times of distress." Yes, our Loving God can help if we allow him to (1John 5:14). He also has made the SURE promise of a resurrection right here on earth, when it is restored to a Paradise (Acts 24:15; Psalms 37:9-11,29). No, not just a dream, but for a certainty he will do it, for Isaiah 55:11 shows us that everything he says, he accomplishes without fail. Find out more about this resurrection online at JW.ORG

Poochie was my very first friend in life. We met as we went off to Kindergarten on the first day of school. Ms. Ida had a lot to do with us becoming fast friends. I am so heartbroken right now. Love and condolences to the family. Niecy

I wish to express my deepest and sincerest condolences to the family. Words alone cannot ease the pain when grieving the loss of a love one. The Bible provides comfort during these difficult times. Revelation 21:3-4 states, "And he(GOD) will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away". May God give you comfort in your loving memories and in His promise that soon we will never experience losing our love ones we will be able to see them again once they are resurrected John 5:28-29. May these scriptures bring comfort and calmness of heart to you during the difficult days

My 50+years of friendship with Poochie began on Franklin Street with mud pies, easy bake oven mishaps, Kool-Aid, and rock-n-rolls and lasted a life-time. As an adult, I always enjoyed my visits to her and Larry's beautiful home that was filled with love whether I stayed for hours or just a few minutes, Well, actually, trying to visit Poochie for a few minutes never worked. When I think of my EHS Classmate of 1981 and KAMEO friend, I think of love and loyalty. For those of us who were blessed to call her family or friend, we had a lifetime of love whether we saw her every day or just once a year. May God's love and wonderful memories bring comfort to the family. She will be missed.
