Mrs. Darion Elaine Crosby Jackson, 68, was born July 19, 1949 in Belmont, North Carolina.  She was the second eldest child of the late Arthur Preston Crosby and Gussie Reid Crosby.  She departed this life on Tuesday, December 26, 2017 at her home in Gastonia, North Carolina.

She graduated from the last graduating class of Reid High, "Class of 1966".  After graduation, she began work at Holy Angels in Belmont, North Carolina.  She was also employed at Ti-Caro Threads, Homelite and was later employed at Stabilius Inc. where she worked until her retirement.

She loved her “Chaps” and grand boys.  She enjoyed cooking, playing bingo and computer games. She had an infectious smile and never met a stranger.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by two brothers:  George Brown, Sr. and Johnny Arthur Crosby.

She leaves to cherish her fond memories, her daughter, Felandria A Jackson of Richmond, Virginia; son, Michael Jackson (Joy) and daughter, Darion C Jackson, both of Gastonia, NC; three grandsons, who she adored, Darrius M Jackson of Greenville, NC, Julian M Jackson and Jaiden M Jackson, both of Gastonia, NC; two sisters, Bertha L Hart (Sherman) of Winston-Salem, NC and Edith Crosby of Laurel, MD; three brothers, Bobbie Crosby of Denver Colorado, Ricky Crosby and Joe Crosby, both of Gastonia, NC; five sister-in-laws,  Azilee Brown of Clover, SC, Patsy Martin (James) of Shelby, NC, Brenda Boyce (Jerry), Sherry Smith (Kelvin) and Evelyn Jackson, all of Gastonia, NC; former husband and long-time friend, James M. Jackson, Sr.; a host of nieces and nephews, special friends, Beverly “Thelma” Washington, Jackie Parks,  Class of 1966, The Church of Jesus Christ Family,  YMCA Family, Stabilius Crew other relatives and friends.

VISITATION:
The family will receive friends one hour prior to funeral.
(1:00 until 2:00 P.M.)

    Please accept my sincere regrets for your loss. Death is certainly difficult thing to have to deal with. The bible does provide us with comfort and hope in times such as these. Revelation 21:4 says that God will wipe every tear from our eyes and death and pain will be no more. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
