Mrs. Delores Ann Smith Littlejohn, 78, 511 Doffin Lane, Gastonia, North Carolina died Tuesday, January 2, 2018 at Caromont Regional Medical Center, Gastonia, North Carolina.  She was a native of Gaston County, North Carolina and was the daughter of the late Plato Smith Sr. and Lula Davis Smith.

She was a longtime member of Emmanuel Missionary Baptist Church in Gastonia, North Carolina.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James "Slim" Littlejohn; son, Spencer Littlejohn and her siblings.

She leaves to cherish precious memories her daughters, Deborah L. Currence (J.R.) and Cheryl L. Littlejohn; daughter-in-law, Cynthia M. Littlejohn; sister, Loretta S. Rhyne; brother, Plato Smith, Jr.; grandchildren, James "Jay" Currence, Jr., James "2" Littlejohn, II, Vincent A. Littlejohn and Ja'Lessia Littlejohn; great grandchildren, Khloe Littlejohn and Kayden Littlejohn; godsisters, Theresa McKinney and Sondra Katzenstein; godsons, Donald Paysour and Ray Bagley; a host of other relatives and friends. 

In lieu of flowers, family has requested making donations to their mother's love and passion and that children...operation destiny summer camp that helps children to continue academically. Executive Coaching, 2020 Remount Road, Gastonia, NC 28054.

Saturday, January 6, 2017 at 12:00 noon

The family will receive friends at the church for one hour prior to funeral.
(11:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon)
