I wanted to send my love and condolences to the Kennon family. I'm very sorry for your loss. Losing a loved one in death is a devastating experience that leaves us with feelings of sorrow and grief. However, know that God is going to replace your sadness with joy and a hope for the future. How? Isaiah 25:8 says, "He will swallow up death forever, and the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will wipe the tears from all faces." So here Jehovah God has promised that He will eliminate death forever, wiping away the tears that come from losing the ones we love. Furthermore, God has given us the hope of the resurrection, which can mean being reunited with our dear loved ones, once again on a Paradise earth. (John 5:28, 29; Revelation 21:4)

Dear Family and Friends, when under trial Jesus was able to endure because of the joyful hope he maintained in Jehovah God's promises (Hebrews 12:2, Psalm 83:18). May you all find that same hope and comfort in this time of great sorrow by following Jesus’ example of "coming to know the only true God" (John 17:3) who assures the hope of a resurrection for ones like Gary (John 5:28-29), as well as true salvation for those of us who endure to the end (Mt 24:13). Please read the cited scriptures in your copy of the Bible to be truly comforted.

I am so sorry for the loss of your dear loved one. There is a very comforting scripture found at Isaiah 25:8. It says that soon Jehovah will swallow up death forever and that he will wipe away all of the tears. So we can look forward to a time when death will be done away with forever. I hope that this scripture can bring some comfort during this time.

To the family, My condolences to the loss of your love one. I know it is hard to deal with this grief-stricken pain. But God, whose name is Jehovah, stated in his word the Bible that “death will be no more”. (Psalms 83:18, 1 Timothy 3:16, Revelation 21:4). Also, his son, Jesus Christ, assured us at John 5:28,29: “Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection of life, and those who practiced vile things to a resurrection of judgment”. So, rest assured, you will be able to see your love one again. I’ve attached a link to one of our tracts from our website, jw.org. The tract asks this question, “Can the Dead Really Live Again?” It has wonderful scriptural encouragement that will help from God’s word. Again, my sincerest condolences, J. Bryant https://www.jw.org/finder?wtlocale=E&pub=t-35&srcid=share

I wish to express my sincerest sympathy to the Kennon family and friends because of losing Mr. Gary recently in death. When our loved ones fall asleep in death, the pain and grief seems unbearable. Our loving God, Jehovah (Psalm 83:18), understands how we feel and he comforts us by means of his Word. Psalm 34: 18 tells us: "Jehovah is close to the brokenhearted; He saves those who are crushed in spirit." Jehovah invites you to throw all your burdens on him and he will sustain you in your time of grief because he cares for you. 1 Peter 5:7 None of us are guaranteed tomorrow, but we are all guaranteed a resurrection. (John 5:28, John 6:40, John 11:23-25, Acts 24:15, Job 14:14-15) Also, Titus 1: 2 tells us this promise of a resurrection: "is based on a hope of the everlasting life that God, who cannot lie, promised long ago." Isaiah 26:19 "Your dead will live......And the earth will let those powerless in death come to life." Isaiah 25:8 "He will swallow up death forever. For Jehovah himself has spoken it." For more comforting scriptures please visit: http://bit.ly/1K38EFt. It has given me hope, strengthened my faith and helped me find the answer to Why? I know it will do the same for you. John 17:3 Again, the family is in my prayers and I offer my heartfelt condolences.
