Funeral service for Ms. Faye Yvette Andrews will be conducted 1:00 PM Wednesday, January 24, 2018, at Mount Zion AME Church, 1306 E. Cheves St., Florence. Interment will follow in Mill Branch AME Church Cemetery, Pamplico, directed by Smith Funeral Home of Florence, LLC.

Ms. Faye Yvette Andrews, the daughter of the late Charles L. Andrews and Clyde Bristow Andrews Smith was born in Florence, SC. She died on Wednesday, January 17, 2018.

At an early age, Faye became a member of Mill Branch A.M.E. Church in Pamplico, SC. Faye later transferred her membership to Turner Chapel A.M.E. Church in Atlanta, Ga. Faye attended Florence County Public Schools and was a member of the 1973 Class of West Florence High School. Upon graduating from high school, Faye attended Hampton University in Hampton, VA and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting.

Faye was a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.

In her work with Johnson Products, United Negro College Fund of Atlanta, Johnson & Johnson, Care USA, Universal Medical Billing & Consultants, and finally InComm, Inc., Faye was a well- respected, loved and valued employee.

Survivors include: Lizzie A. (Leon) Grant, birth mother; Karl Morrison, birth father; a life-long companion and soul-mate Derreck “Scottie” Belle and son, Ty of Atlanta, GA; two sisters, Shirley Morrison and Mona Lisa (Herman) Funderburk; nephews; nieces; godchildren; a host of great-aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives and friends.

Omega Omega service will be held 11:30 AM, Wednesday, January 24, 2018 at the church, prior to funeral service.
