I want to send my love and sympathies to the Baity family. I'm very sorry for your loss. It's no way to really describe the pain one feels when death overtakes a loved one. Feelings of sadness and grief can be overwhelming during this time of mourning. However, comfort from the scriptures can give you hope. John 5:28, 29 speaks of the promise of the resurrection. That scripture says, "Do not be amazed at this, because the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out." What this can mean for your family is a real hope of being reunited with your dear loved ones.

I am truly sorry for the loss and pain that the Baity family and friends are feeling because of losing Ms. Jacqueline recently in death. Most of us have had to endure the sorrow of losing a loved one in death. What helped me the most was prayer and faith in God's promises like found here at 1 Corinthians 15: 26 and it tells us: "And the last enemy, death, is to be brought to nothing." Isaiah 33:24 guarantees us: "And no resident will say "I am sick," ever again. God's kingdom that Jesus taught us to pray for at Matt. 6: 9, 10 will bring about these wonderful promises, including the resurrection. None of us are guaranteed tomorrow, but we are all guaranteed a resurrection. (John 5:28, John 6:40, John 11:23-25, Acts 24:15, Job 14:14-15) Also, Titus 1: 2 tells us this promise of a resurrection: "is based on a hope of the everlasting life that God, who cannot lie, promised long ago." Isaiah 26:19 "Your dead will live......And the earth will let those powerless in death come to life." Isaiah 25:8 "He will swallow up death forever. For Jehovah himself has spoken it." For more comforting scriptures please visit: http://bit.ly/1K38EFt. It has given me hope, strengthened my faith and helped me find the answer to Why? I know it will do the same for you. John 17:3 Jehovah invites you to throw all your burdens on him and he will sustain you in your time of grief because he cares for you. 1 Peter 5:7, Psalm 34:18 I pray you will find comfort reading the above scriptures in your personal Bible and to please watch this beautiful video (song 144) entitled "Keep Your Eyes on the Prize" https://tv.jw.org/#en/video/VODChildren/pub-pksn_24_VIDEO If you had the opportunity to see your dead loved ones again, alive and in perfect health here on earth, would you take it? Of course you would! If so, please watch this short, faith strengthening video: "Can The Dead Really Live Again?" https://vimeo.com/232445509 You are in my prayers during this difficult time. Dear Family, Please accept my sincere condolences on the loss of your loved one. Almighty God has a longing to undo all that death has caused. (Acts 9:36-41) May you have the utmost confidence in all that God promises, for He cannot lie. (Titus 1:2)

God promises to completely do away with sickness and death. These things are not in his purpose for mankind. His purpose is that mankind lives forever. Therefore, he will remove all pain and suffering and restore life to those lost in death by means of a resurrection. He promises this and yearns to fulfill his promise. May you find comfort in these promises. (Revelation 21:4, Acts 24:15)

We deeply feel for what you and the family are going through. At times, there isn't much that can soothe the pain this grief brings, but you may find some comfort in the words of Psalms 9:9 which reads: "Jehovah will become a secure refuge for the oppressed, A secure refuge in times of distress." Yes, our Loving God can help if we allow him to (1John 5:14). He also has made the SURE promise of a resurrection right here on earth, when it is restored to a Paradise (Acts 24:15; Psalms 37:9-11,29). No, not just a dream, but for a certainty he will do it, for Isaiah 55:11 shows us that everything he says, he accomplishes without fail. You can find out more online at JW.ORG
