Ms. Ethel Jean Prince, 64, of Vine Grove, KY,  died on February 9, 2018 at Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown, KY.

Ms. Prince was a native of Tuscumbia, AL and the daughter of the late Lankston and Mahalia Prince.  She was a member of First Baptist Church in Elizabethtown, KY.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sisters, Julia Prince and Mammie Taylor; brothers Thomas Prince and Nathaniel Prince.

She is survived by five daughters, Teresa Prince of Radcliff, KY, Monica Grace (Eugene, Sr.) of Vine Grove, KY, Rhonda Mellette (Shontell) of Vine Grove, KY, Christina Prince and Glenda Qualls both of Elizabethtown, KY; three sisters, Essie Shipp (Gary) of Elizabethtown, KY, Lorene Prince of Radcliff, KY and Linda Qualls of Dayton, OH and 15 grandchildren.  

Funeral service will be held at 3:00 pm on Saturday, February 17, 2018 at First Baptist Church with Dr. Roderick Jones officiating.  Burial will follow in the Elizabethtown City Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 6:00 - 8:00 pm on Friday, February 16, 2018 at Percell & Sons Funeral Home.

Percell & Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

    It saddens us to hear you are mourning the loss of your loved one. May you find strength and comfort from the words of Psalms 34:18. It reads: “Jehovah is close to the brokenhearted; He saves those who are crushed in spirit." Our loving God is there for us if we ask for his help (1 John 5:14). He didn't intend for us to grow old and die. He thus has made the SURE promise of a resurrection RIGHT HERE ON EARTH when it is restored to a beautiful paradise (Psalms 37:9-11, 29; Acts 24:15; Isaiah 55;11).
