MR. ANDREW LEWIS HARRISON, affectionately called “Boo Harrison,” departed this earth on Wednesday, February 7, 2018, peacefully at his home in LaCrosse, VA. He was born March 29, 1947 in Mecklenburg County, VA to the late Odell and Virginia Boyd Harrison. Andrew was preceded in death by five sisters and two brothers.

He attended East End High School and later Southside Skill Center for Welding.

He was a faithful member of First Baptist Church, LaCrosse, VA

Andrew was married to the love of his life, Gloria Gregory Harrison for 50 years and to this union two children were born, one of whom preceded him in death.

Andrew was employed for many years at USCO Mobile Homes and later Virginia Homes Inc. until his health began to fail.

Boo” enjoyed watching basketball and baseball. In his younger years he loved to dance and his favorite singer was “Roy C”. His favorite team was the Los Angeles Lakers Basketball Team.

Andrew was loved and will be missed by his devoted wife, Gloria M. Harrison of the home; son- Ray A. Harrison also of the home; grand-daughter, Tyesha Hawkins and great-grand-daughter, Ja’niya Hawkins, both of Lawrenceville, VA; two sisters- Naomi Johnson of Atlanta, GA and Minnie H. Baskerville of Washington, DC; two devoted brothers- Alphonso “Pete” (Gayle) Harrison and Jimmy Harrison (Stephanie Wagner) all of LaCrosse, VA; four brothers-in-law, William (Ethel) Gregory, Prince George, VA; James Gregory, Baskerville, VA; Sam Gregory, Newark, NJ and Joseph Gregory, Washington, DC; two sisters-in-law, Queen Young, Landover, MD and Mary Woods, Plainfield, NJ; devoted nieces- Brenda McKnight, Shirley Farrar, Valarie Thompson, and Cynthia Boyd; devoted friends, Mr. and Mrs. James Minor and James “Bubba” Jones, and a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

    My deepest sympathy for your loss and condolences to the family and friends. Time and unforseen be fall all Ecc 9:11 . God does NOT cause death right now. Our heavenly father is sending Jesus to solve all mankinds problems, by means of his kingdom coming here on Earth. Our father who is in heaven , let your kingdom come on Earth as it is in Heaven. This is a government coming . This is what it will bring, here on Earth.
