To the family, I am sincerely sorry for your loss. It's never easy to lose a loved one under any circumstance. Please be assured that Jehovah God is aware of your pain and he is near to the brokenhearted.(Pam 34:18) For the bible promises us that there will be a resurrection (John 5:28-29) and God will bring an end to Death once and for all (Rev 21:4). From that point on we will never have to feel the pangs of death again. I pray these words and scriptures bring you comfort.

My deepest sympathies over the loss of Betty. No person can ever prepare themselves for the feelings of loss that can come when our loved ones leave us. Please know that these feelings are temporary and will soon be replaced with wonderful and happy memories. The comfort from the scriptures can help during this difficult time. John 5:28,29 "for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection of life." Knowing that we can see our loved ones again in a future paradise free from the effects of ill health and suffering certainly warms our hear. Please accept my deepest sympathies.

I would like to offer my condolences to the Collins family. 81 years is quite an accomplishment according to the Bible (Psalm 90:10) and I know Ms. Betty has left you with many precious memories and will be greatly missed. Hopefully this scripture will give you comfort because our loving heavenly Father, Jehovah God (Psalm 83:18) is promising us he will do away with man's worst enemy, death. This is found for us at Rev. 21: 4; "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore." For more comforting scriptures please visit: http://bit.ly/1K38EFt. It has given me hope, strengthened my faith and helped me find the answer to Why? I know it will do the same for you. God's kingdom that Jesus taught us to pray for at Matthew 6: 9, 10 will bring about these wonderful promises including the resurrection. John 6: 40 tells us: "For this is the will of my Father, that everyone who recognizes the Son and exercises faith in him should have everlasting life, and I will resurrect him on the last day." Also, Titus 1: 2 tells us this promise of a resurrection: "is based on a hope of the everlasting life that God, who cannot lie, promised long ago. Isaiah 26:19 "Your dead will live......And the earth will let those powerless in death come to life." Isaiah 25:8 "He will swallow up death forever. For Jehovah himself has spoken it." This is a wonderful promise made to us by our heavenly father and I pray it brings you comfort and hope. Jehovah invites you to throw all your burdens on him and he will sustain you in your time of grief. I pray you find comfort reading the above scriptures in your personal Bible and to please watch this beautiful video (song 144) entitled "Keep Your Eyes on the Prize" https://tv.jw.org/#en/video/VODChildren/pub-pksn_24_VIDEO If you had the opportunity to see your dead loved ones again, alive and in perfect health here on earth, would you take it? Of course, we all would! If yes, please watch this short, faith strengthening video: "Can The Dead Really Live Again?" https://vimeo.com/198452977 You are in my prayers during this difficult time. Also: We warmly welcome you to attend a Bible convention near you this summer. Theme: "Be Courageous!" My deepest sympathies to the Collins family. I know that your family is experiencing the loss of a dear loved one. This indeed is a very painful time. Rest assured that our loving God, Jehovah, is certainly aware of how you're feeling. In His Word, the Bible, he promises to raise up our dear loved ones through the beautiful hope of a resurrection. God promises to completely do away with sickness and death. These things are not in his purpose for mankind. His purpose is that mankind lives forever. Therefore, he will remove all pain and suffering and restore life to those lost in death by means of a resurrection. He promises this and yearns to fulfill his promise. May you find comfort in these promises. (Revelation 21:4, Acts 24:15)

We're so sorry to hear you are mourning the loss of Betty. May you find strength and comfort from the words of Nahum 1:7 Which reads: “Jehovah is good, a stronghold in the day of distress. He is mindful of those seeking refuge in him.” Our loving God is there for us if we ask for his help (1 John 5:14). He didn't intend for us to grow old and die. He thus has made the SURE promise of a resurrection RIGHT HERE ON EARTH when it is restored to a beautiful paradise (Psalms 37:9-11, 29; Acts 24:15; Isaiah 55;11). Can you see yourself welcoming back to life your loved ones? What a joy it will bring all of us! You can go online to JW.ORG and find out more about this resurrection.
