I wish to express my sincerest sympathy to the Hood family and friends because of losing Mr. Marvin recently in death. When our loved ones fall asleep in death, the pain and grief seems unbearable. Our loving God, Jehovah (Psalm 83:18), understands how we feel and he comforts us by means of his Word. Psalm 34: 18 tells us: "Jehovah is close to the brokenhearted; He saves those who are crushed in spirit." Jehovah invites you to throw all your burdens on him and he will sustain you in your time of grief because he cares for you. 1 Peter 5:7 None of us are guaranteed tomorrow, but we are all guaranteed a resurrection. (John 5:28, John 6:40, John 11:23-25, Acts 24:15, Job 14:14-15) Also, Titus 1: 2 tells us this promise of a resurrection: "is based on a hope of the everlasting life that God, who cannot lie, promised long ago." Isaiah 26:19 "Your dead will live......And the earth will let those powerless in death come to life." Isaiah 25:8 "He will swallow up death forever. For Jehovah himself has spoken it." For more comforting scriptures please visit: It has given me hope, strengthened my faith and helped me find the answer to Why? I know it will do the same for you. John 17:3 I pray you will find comfort reading the above scriptures in your personal Bible and to please watch this beautiful video (song 144) entitled "Keep Your Eyes on the Prize" If you had the opportunity to see your dead loved ones again, alive and in perfect health, here on earth, would you take it? Of course, we all would. If yes, please watch this short, faith strengthening video: "Can The Dead Really Live Again?" I have you in my prayers. Also: We warmly welcome you to attend a Bible convention near you this summer. Theme: "Be Courageous!" Friday, June 8, 2018 - Sunday, June 10, 2018 or Friday, July 6, 2018 - Sunday, July 8, 2018 Georgia International Convention Center 2000 Convention Center Concourse College Park GA 30337 Mark your calendar NOW and prepare to come. NO COLLECTIONS ARE EVER TAKEN You will receive spiritual encouragement to help you through the months ahead without your loved one, Mr. Marvin.

I want to send my love and sympathies to the Hood family. I'm very sorry for your loss. It's no way to really describe the pain one feels when death overtakes a loved one. Feelings of sadness and grief can be overwhelming during this time of mourning. However, comfort from the scriptures can give you hope. John 5:28, 29 speaks of the promise of the resurrection. That scripture says, "Do not be amazed at this, because the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out." What this can mean for your family is a real hope of being reunited with your dear loved ones.

Dear Family, Please accept my sincere condolences on the loss of your loved one. Almighty God has a longing to undo all that death has caused. (Daniel 12:2) May you have the utmost confidence in all that God promises, for He cannot lie. (Titus 1:2)

His promise is a guarantee because it is impossible for God to lie. God will wipe every tear from eyes and death, mourning, pain and sorrow will be things of the past. (Revelation 21:4). We deeply feel for what you and the family are going through. At times, there isn't much that can soothe the pain this grief brings, but you may find some comfort in the words of Psalms 9:9 which reads: "Jehovah will become a secure refuge for the oppressed, A secure refuge in times of distress." Yes, our Loving God can help if we allow him to (1John 5:14). He also has made the SURE promise of a resurrection right here on earth, when it is restored to a Paradise (Acts 24:15; Psalms 37:9-11,29). No, not just a dream, but for a certainty he will do it, for Isaiah 55:11 shows us that everything he says, he accomplishes without fail. You can find out more online at JW.ORG
