Rosa B. Williams
July 20, 1951 - February 15, 2018

Columbus, GA- Rosa B. Williams 66, of Columbus, Georgia passed Thursday, February 15, 2018 at the Midtown Medical Center. Funeral services will be 11:00AM Saturday, February 24, 2018 in the Chapel at Hill-Watson-People's Funeral Service LLC, 1605 3rd Avenue, Columbus with Rev. Alfred Bunkley officiating. Interment will follow at Green Acres Cemetery according to Hill-Watson-People's Funeral Service LLC, Phone:706-327-9293. Visitation will be today, Friday, February 23, 2018 from 2:00PM-6:00PM at the funeral home. Rosa Bud Williams was born July 20, 1951 in Box Springs, Georgia to late Eddie Lee and Willie Bell Jones Meadows. Other than her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Ephriam Williams and brother Bobby Meadows. She attended Geneva Elementary School in Geneva, GA. In 1969 she graduated from Ruth Carver High School in Talbotton, GA. Rosa worked as a clerical typist at Geneva Elementary School and she retired from Muscogee County School System after 30 years. She was a member of Mt Pilgrim Baptist Church in Box Springs, GA where she served as a Deaconess, Usher, Kitchen Committee and was a Sunday School Teacher. Rosa was a soccer team mother, soccer mother of the year in 1987, PTA Vice President, a tutor for children in Reach for Reading and volunteer in hearing and vision screening. She married the late Ephriam Williams in 1971, they were married 44 years. Rosa leaves to cherish her beautiful memories her two sons, Ephriam Benard Williams(DeJuanna ), Cypress, TX and Nicholas Tavares Williams(Stephatina), Bonaire, GA; seven grandchildren, Jalani, Jamari, Morgan, Kara, Ashlyn, Elijah and Cameron; sisters in law, Charlene(Willie)Coleman, Christine(Joseph)Pough and Diann Meadows; two brothers in law, Edward Williams and Gregory Williams both of Columbus, GA; an aunt, Annie Bell Howard, Box Springs, GA; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many dear friends.
