Mr. Christopher Raynard Johnson, 45, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, February 20, 2018.  Raynard was born July 8, 1972.  He was preceded in death by his father, Mr. Kelvin Johnson; his grandmother, Mrs. Constance Allen; and his aunt, Dawn Marie Allen.

Raynard attended Guilford County Schools and graduated from Southwest Guilford High School, class of 1991.   Raynard earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Therapeutic Recreation from East Carolina University (ECU).  A proud ECU pirate, he went on to earn a Masters of public administration degree from High Point University. On August 15, 1998 Raynard wed Tiyoko Howard.   From their union came Raynard’s pride and joy; Mr. Cameron Raynard Johnson and Miss Kyndall Elise Johnson.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Mrs. Tiyoko Johnson; children, Mr. Cameron Raynard Johnson and Miss Kyndall Elise Johnson; parents, Mr. and Mrs. James and Sharon Green; grandfather, Mr. William L. Allen; siblings, Mrs. Lakiya (Justin) Rogers of Land O Lakes, FL, Ms. Sheneka Morris, Ms. Shonda Morris, Mr. Shaquan Johnson all of Greensboro, NC, Mr. Christopher (TiTi ) Pratt of Archdale, NC, Mr. and Mrs. Gary (Tamela) Stubbs of  Atlanta, GA, and Ms. Tomeka Pratt of Archdale, NC. Raynard had a special relationship with his mother-in-law, Ms. Janice Howard. Raynard leaves behind a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends to cherish his memory.

Funeral service will be held Monday, February 26, 2018 at 12:00 p.m. at Harvest Church, 4915 Guilford College Road. Interment will follow at Carolina Biblical Gardens. The family will receive friends at the church from 11:30 a.m. until 12:00 p.m.

Final arrangements are entrusted to Phillips Funeral Service, Inc.
