Mrs. Beatrice Elam entered into rest Friday, February 23, 2018 at her residence. 

Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, March 1, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. from Carpentersville Baptist Church, 415 Carpentersville Road, North Augusta, SC, Reverend Herman Bing, pastor-eulogist. Interment will be in Southview Cemetery. The remains will lie in state at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service.

Family will receive friends Wednesday, February 28, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Mortuary.

    I am truly sorry for the loss of life of Beatrice Elam (Cousin Bea). My Family SBT ( Smith, Brown, Terrell) has known Cousin Bea for years. My Grandmother was Hattie Pearl Smith and my Grandfather was Daniel E. Smith lived on Hamburg Road in Carpentersville.

    We deeply feel for what you and the family are going through. At times, there isn't much that can soothe the pain this grief brings, but you may find some comfort in the words of Psalms 9:9 which reads: "Jehovah will become a secure refuge for the oppressed, A secure refuge in times of distress." Yes, our Loving God can help if we allow him to (1John 5:14).
