My deepest sympathy in the loss of your beloved family member. When a loved one falls asleep in death it grieves the heart. The Bible has beautiful and comforting scriptures to help cope with the grief and sadness. Psalm 147:3 says: He (God) heals the brokenhearted; He binds up their wounds. And the promise for the future at Isaiah 26:19; Your dead will live. And the earth will let those powerless in death come to life. "Friends of our God, though they may pass away, will never be forgotten. All those asleep who in God's Memory stay, from death He will awaken. Then we'll come to see all that life can be: Paradise eternally!" John 6:40; John 11:11

Dear Family, I'm so sorry to hear of the loss of your loved one. My sincere condolences to you. May you think of the many beautiful memories that you shared with Mr. Robert, and cherish those precious moments. May the God of all comfort caress your heart with his living promise to one day reunite you together again in the future paradise mentioned at Revelation 21: 4,5. Our Dear Heavenly Father Jehovah (Psalms 83:18 )knows the many tears you cry and he will sustain you if you let him. I was thinking of you and hoping that you can find comfort during this difficult time.

God strengthens us by giving us "the power beyond what is normal" to make it through each passing day. Psalm 46:1 says: "God is our refuge and strength, a help that is readily found in times of distress". Nahum 1:7 says: 'God "is a stronghold in the day of distress, and is mindful of those seeking refuge in him". Please accept my sincere condolences. Always remember God loves you and he cares for you!

We deeply feel for what you and the family are going through. At times, there isn't much that can soothe the pain this grief brings, but you may find some comfort in the words of Psalms 9:9 which reads: "Jehovah will become a secure refuge for the oppressed, A secure refuge in times of distress." Yes, our Loving God can help if we allow him to (1John 5:14). He also has made the SURE promise of a resurrection right here on earth, when it is restored to a Paradise (Acts 24:15; Psalms 37:9-11,29). No, not just a dream, but for a certainty he will do it, for Isaiah 55:11 shows us that everything he says, he accomplishes without fail. You can find out more online at JW.ORG ~~~ You are also cordially invited to the memorial of Jesus death. The means by which the promise of a paradise is possible.
