My sincere sympathies to the Whitaker family. I am very sorry for your loss. Please know that God is eager to do away with death. He hates death and views it as an enemy. (1 Corinthians 15:26) As an enemy of God, we can be sure that death will be conquered and will not last forever. Almighty God, Jehovah, will undo death by means of the resurrection hope. (John 5:28, 29) He yearns to bring back those who are in his memory and to see them live on earth again. (Job 14:14,15) What this can mean for you is a real hope of being reunited with your dear loved ones.

I am so sorry for the loss of your dear loved one. There is a very comforting scripture found at Isaiah 25:8. It says that soon Jehovah will swallow up death forever and that he will wipe away all of the the tears. So we can look forward to a time when death will be done away with forever. I hope that this scripture can bring some comfort during this time.

I am so sorry for your loss. May the love of family, friends, and Almighty God bring you comfort and support during your time of grief and afterward. (Ps. 83:18; Isaiah 41:10) Hold on to your memories and to the Scriptures to bring you peace and to help you to endure your loss until you are reunited. (2 Tim. 3:16, 17; John 5:28, 29)
