Edward Randolph Cooper, 91, of North St. Harrisburg, transitioned into eternal life on Friday, March 9, 2018 at M. S. Hershey Medical Center.

He was born in Kingstree, SC, son of the late William A. and Maudie L. (Pressley) Cooper, a Veteran of the U. S. Army and Air Force, an African American Iconic owner of the former Cooper's Service Station at 16th and State Streets for over 35 years, a former member of St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church, a member of Baptist Fellowship Baptist Church where he served as an Usher, a member of Chosen Friends Lodge #43 F & AM and the African American Chamber of Commerce.

Edward was the widower of Tensi L. Cooper vand leaves to celebrate his life, his daughter, Belinda Cooper Baker (Ross E.) of Pennsauken, NJ; his brother, Norman Cooper (Vivian); his grandson, Chazarae E. Ernest; his great grandaughter, Chy´mere Monae Willis, all of Harrisburg; his step-grandson, Christopher E. Baker of Lompoc, CA and a host of other relatives and friends.

His life will be celebrated on Friday, March 16 at 1:00 p.m. in the Sanctuary of Goodwin Memorial Baptist Church, 2447 Green St., with viewing Noon until 1:00 p.m. and burial in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens.
