To the Buchanan Family. Loosing your loved one has no doubt led you on a journey searching for lasting comfort and the strength to make it through the days ahead. You no longer have to search! Without a doubt, the primary source of consolation is our compassionate heavenly, Father, Jehovah. At 2 Corinthians 1:3-4 he describes himself as the Father of tender mercies and the God of all comfort who delivers us through all our trails...". He has the desire and the power to help you and your family through the tough days ahead. God is not a stranger to loss for he has lost friends such as Abraham, Isaac, Moses, and King David. God's Word assures you that Jehovah God has eagerly anticipated-has the earnest longing for-the time when he will bring them back to life. (Job 14:14-15) You can have unwavering confidence that Jehovah God will act in your behalf. So, do not hesitate to pour out your heart to him in prayer concerning your personal grief. (Psalms 65:2) Is it not comforting to know that God understands your pain and provides the comfort you so sorely needs. So during those lonely hours during the early mornings or late nights, take your Bible out and mediate on the scriptures sited above and experience God's embrace through his compassionate words found in his Holy Scriptures. May you and your family experience the everlasting comfort that only God can give!

Such a terrible loss, we are so sorry, but we can really believe what the Bible says as to whether the dead can live again. One reason is that God is the creator of life. The Bible calls Jehovah God "the source of life"( Psalm 36:9; Acts 17:24,25) The One who gave life to all living creatures is certainly capable of restoring life to someone who has died. God will sustain you with his "right hand of righteousness" during this difficult time and through each passing day.Isaiah 41:10 says: "Do not be afraid, for I am with you. Do not be anxious, for I am your God. I will fortify you, yes, I will help you, I will really hold on to you with my right hand of righteousness". Isaiah 41:13; I "am grasping your right hand, the One (God) saying to you,...'I will help you'". Please accept my sincere condolences. Always remember God loves you and he cares for you! (Psalm 36:7; 1 Peter 5:7)
