Carolyn Oliver Hall was born on August 29, 1944 in Fort Pierce, Florida.  While growing up Carolyn attended the local schools in St. Lucie County and graduated with the class of 1963 from Lincoln Park Academy.  Carolyn furthered her education and received her Associates Degree.

Carolyn was a member of Greater Mount Pleasant Primitive Baptist Church. Carolyn served on the Usher Board and worked with the finance committee.

Carolyn last and most current employment was  with the St Lucie County Council of Aging as an Activities Coordinator and the Meal on Wheels as the site Manager.

On Saturday, March 24, 2018, Carolyn’s physical life on earth came to an end, and her spiritual life in eternity began.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Eddie and Julia Oliver, Jr.; brothers, Eddie Oliver, Jr. and Douglas Oliver.

Left to cherish her rich legacy is her only son, Douglas Kipling Terrell (Teresa) of Savannah, GA; one grandson, Kameron Terrell of Columbia, SC; three sisters, Linda Oliver Ross and Gwendolyn Oliver (Charles) Hendley of Fort Pierce, FL, and  Brenda Oliver Latimer of McDonough, GA; two goddaughters, Eyvonda Cooper Moye of Ft. Lauderdale,  FL and Melanie Lyles Williams of Fort Pierce, FL; a very special childhood friend, Hilda Foxx and a host of grieving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation will be held 3PM to 7PM Friday, March 30, 2018 at Stone Brothers Funeral Home, Ft. Pierce.  A Funeral service will be held 11AM Saturday, March 31, 2018 at Greater Mount Pleasant Primitive Baptist Church, 2100 Avenue K, Ft. Pierce, FL 34950.  Burial will follow immediately at Pine Grove Cemetery.
