Funeral ceremony for Anna Mae Porter, 78, of Anniston, AL will be held 12PM Friday, April 6, 2018 at the Mount Liberty Baptist Church with Rev. Walter J. Turner Officiating.

Burial will follow in New Hope Cemetery Bynum, AL with Goodson Funeral Home INC Directing.

Viewing will be held Thursday, April 5, 2018 at the chapel from 1-7PM. Survivors include Siblings; Nellie Mae Fears, Lucille Gilbert, and Clementine Porter all of Anniston, AL, Robert Lee Porter of Riverside, CA and a host of loving Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her son, Cleveland Sanders, Parents, Cannah Porter Sr., and Lela Bell Porter; five brothers, Cannah Porter Jr., Lewis, David, Oliver and Charles; and two sisters, Iren Brockman and Alice Porter.     Accept our heartfelt sympathy in your recent loss. May you find strength and comfort from the words of Nahum 1:7 Which reads: “Jehovah is good, a stronghold in the day of distress. He is mindful of those seeking refuge in him.” Yes, our loving God is there for us if we allow him to help (1 John 5:14). He didn't intend for us to grow old and die. He thus has made the SURE promise of a resurrection RIGHT HERE ON EARTH when it is restored to a beautiful paradise (Psalms 37:9-11, 29; Acts 24:15; Isaiah 55;11). Can you see yourself welcoming back to life your loved ones? What a joy it will bring all of us!
