To the Family. Please accept my sincere condolences. God's Word is a great source of comfort and hope during difficult times and Jehovah God 'the God of all comfort' (2 Corinthians 1:3) is fully aware of your sadness. Revelation 21:4 promises, "He will wipe out every tear" and will bring back to life those who sleep in death as Acts 24:15 promises, "There is going to be a resurrection.". Please be assured of these future events because God himself declares, 'I am making all things new' and 'these words are faithful and true.' ~Revelation 21:5

I'm so sorry for your loss. I'd like to share some real hope with you. In John 5:28-29 and Acts 24:15 the bible promises a resurrection of our loved ones back to earth. When Jesus resurrected Lazarus from the dead, he brought him back to earth. He's going to do that on a much larger scale in the future. In Genesis 3:19 says from dust you are and dust you'll return. In Psalms 146:4 says our breath goes out. we return to the ground and our thoughts perish. That's why we need the resurrection. In Psalms 37:11+29 says man will live forever on the earth in peace. That was God's original purpose, for Adam and Eve to live forever in the garden of eden. God's purpose hasn't changed. In Isaiah 45:18 says God created the earth to be inhabited. That's why God gave his son to die for us, John 3:16, so we could have eternal life. In Revelation 21:4 says there'll be no more pain or death. Is there pain and death in heaven? Of course not. Those are future conditions on earth under God's kingdom arrangement. JW.org

We deeply feel for what you and the family are going through. At times, there isn't much that can soothe the pain this grief brings, but you may find some comfort in the words of Psalms 9:9 which reads: "Jehovah will become a secure refuge for the oppressed, A secure refuge in times of distress." Yes, our Loving God can help if we allow him to (1John 5:14). He also has made the SURE promise of a resurrection right here on earth, when it is restored to a Paradise (Acts 24:15; Psalms 37:9-11,29). No, not just a dream, but for a certainty he will do it, for Isaiah 55:11 shows us that everything he says, he accomplishes without fail. You can find out more online at JW.ORG

Please accept my heartfelt condolence on the loss of your dear one; Mr. Davies. My family and I have found comfort in the Bible's promise of a time when death will be no more; - "And He (God) will wipe out every tear from their eyes and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away." - Revelation 21:4. May the memories of your loved one sustain you until God's promises are soon fulfilled - "For this is the will of my Father, that everyone who recognizes the Son and exercises faith in him should have everlasting life, and I will resurrect him on the last day."- John 6:40. Please visit www.jw.org for more of God's marvelous promises that 'is around the corner'.
