Steve and I played many tennis games at Chateau Village and more recently at Racquet Club of Gastonia. We played together as recently as last Saturday morning. It is hard to imagine not seeing him pull into the parking lot and walking to the courts with his tennis racket. Steve will be missed and will be in our thoughts.

My heart is broken, but I know GOD has called an angel home. He and his beautiful smile will be deeply missed. With Deepest Sympathy, Cookie Wright Cox

I'm so very sorry for your loss. Death is such a difficult thing to have to deal with. We can however find much comfort in God's word the bible. John 5:28,29 tells us that there will be a resurrection of our dead love ones. This is so comforting when we are trying to cope with the loss of a love one.

We're so sorry to hear you are mourning the recent loss of your loved one. May you find strength and comfort from the words of Psalms 46:1 which reads: "God is our refuge and strength, A help that is readily found in times of distress." Our loving God is there for us if we ask for his help (1 John 5:14). He didn't intend for us to grow old and die. He thus has made the SURE promise of a resurrection RIGHT HERE ON EARTH when it is restored to a beautiful paradise (Psalms 37:9-11, 29; Acts 24:15; Isaiah 55;11). Can you see yourself welcoming back to life your loved ones? What a joy it will bring all of us. You can go online to JW.ORG and find out more about this resurrection.
