Oringen Eugene Colebrook, Jr. was born on April 2, 1940 to Oringen Eugene Colebrook and Delores Taylor Colebrook in Dade City, FL. Oringen attended and graduated from the local schools in Dade County.

After graduation from high school, he attended Grambling College, graduating with a degree in Education. While at Grambling, Oringen met Jeanola Thomas, and they   became man and wife on December 26, 1971. After their wedding, the couple relocated to Fort Pierce, Florida where they remained for the rest of their lives. Oringen served an honorable tour of duty for his country in the United States Air Force.

Oringen was employed as a teacher and coach in the St. Lucie County School System; he completed his tenure at Fort Pierce Central High School.  After retirement Coach devoted his time to the Northside Little League Bat and Ball Club and served as the League President for many years.  

Oringin Colebrook was a faithful member of St. Simon the Cyrenian Episcopal Church in Fort Pierce. He was also an active member of the Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc.  His favorite pastimes included spending quality time with his grandchildren and relaxing at home.

On April 13, 2018, Oringen accepted the call to go home to be with the Lord. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Jeanola Colebrook; and his sister, Felicia Colebrook.

He leaves memories of his life to: his three children, Ingrid Colebrook of Orlando, FL, Oringen III (Venetia) of Union City, GA, and Constance Colebrook of Orlando, FL; five grandchildren, Ashonti, Syncere, Heavyn, Wesley, and Oringen IV; his siblings, Jackee, Joycelyn, Christina, Saundra, Michael, Steven, Angie, Sherry Colebrook; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A visitation will be held 10:30 -11:00AM on Saturday April 28 and Funeral rites to begin at 11AM at St. Simon Episcopal Church, Ft. Pierce.
