On January 18,1931, Wesley and Delzora Starr introduced their new addition to the family, Thomas Jethro Starr. Born and raised in Crouse, North Carolina, he departed this life, Wednesday, April 18, 2018 at Robin Johnson Hospice House in Dallas, North Carolina.

Thomas and Georgina enjoyed a wonderful life until God called her home in 1999.  At a class reunion years later, Thomas met Leola Farris. They married August of 2007.  Thomas then moved back to North Carolina. Retired, Thomas spent his days in his garden and with family and friends.

Please accept my sincere regrets for your loss. I know how difficult death can be to have to deal with. Revelation 21:4 says that God will wipe every tear from our eyes and death and pain will be no more. This is especially comforting since we know this scripture has to be referring to the earth because these things don't exist in heaven.

We deeply feel for what you and the family are going through. At times, there isn't much that can soothe the pain this grief brings, but you may find some comfort in the words of Psalms 9:9 which reads: "Jehovah will become a secure refuge for the oppressed, A secure refuge in times of distress." Yes, our Loving God can help if we allow him to (1John 5:14). He also has made the SURE promise of a resurrection right here on earth, when it is restored to a Paradise (Acts 24:15; Psalms 37:9-11,29). No, not just a dream, but for a certainty he will do it, for Isaiah 55:11 shows us that everything he says, he accomplishes without fail. You can find out more online at JW.ORG
