Tarsha, accept our sincere condolences in your recent loss. May you find some comfort in the words of Psalms 34:18 which reads: " Jehovah is close to the brokenhearted; He saves those who are crushed in spirit " Yes, we can ask for help and rely on God. He also has made the sure promise of a resurrection right here on earth when it is restored to a beautiful paradise. (Acts 24:15; Psalms 37:9-11, 29). Be confident that this is SURE to happen because Isaiah 55:11 ensures us of this. Find out more online at JW.ORG

I would like to offer my condolences for your loss. I hope you will find comfort in knowing that Jehovah, the God of all comfort, will soon eliminate all grief and provide permanent consolation when “all those in the memorial tombs will hear [Christ’s] voice and come out”! (John 5:28, 29) God promises that “he will do away with death forever, and the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will wipe away the tears from all faces.” (Isa. 25:8) Then, instead of having to “weep with those who weep,” all earth’s inhabitants will “rejoice with those who rejoice.”?—Rom. 12:15.

Those we love leave us gifts in the form of memories that no one can take away. Wisdom that we can still recall. These are the things that we will cherish forever. May the family continue to look to Almighty God for comfort during this most stressful time since "He is close to the brokenhearted. He saves those who are crushed in spirit." Psalm 34:18. My condolence to you
