To the Family. Please accept my sincere condolences. God's Word is a great source of comfort and hope during difficult times and Jehovah God 'the God of all comfort' (2 Corinthians 1:3) is fully aware of your sadness. Revelation 21:4 promises, "He will wipe out every tear" and will bring back to life those who sleep in death as Acts 24:15 promises, "There is going to be a resurrection." Please be assured of these future events because God himself declares 'I am making all things new' and 'these words are faithful and true.' ~Revelation 21:5

Cousins Aubrey, Champ, Tami, I am terribly grieved to learn of the passing of Cousin Jean. Such a sweet lovable woman who always smiled, I admired her role as wife, mother, grandmother and community leader. She will certainly be missed, but we remember her good life, long life, well lived life, and we emulate her model of a strong Black woman. She has received her reward and we rejoice in this. Bless you all, as Tony, the girls and I shall continue to pray for your sustenance.

I'm so sorry to hear of Jean's passing. The "Lankford girls" were our family's favorite baby sitters - responsible enough for my parents (Phil & Margaret), and fun enough for us kids. Jean was considered to be part of our family, and we loved her greatly. She always showed up for our milestone moments - and provided a shoulder to cry upon during the difficult ones, and a friend to laugh with during the happy ones. Her infectious laugh, sharp wit, and loving attitude will live on in our memories. I want the family to know that my family shares in your grief, and that we love you all. Steve Minor

We're sorry to hear about your recent loss. May you find strength from the words of Philippians 4:13 which says: "For all things I have the strength through the one who gives me power." What a loving God who cares about each one of us. He didn't intend for us to grow old and die. He thus has made the SURE promise of a resurrection right here on earth when it is restored to a beautiful paradise (Psalms 37:9-11, 29; Acts 24:15; Isaiah 55;11). Can you see yourself welcoming back to life your loved ones? What a joy it will bring all of us. You can go online to JW.ORG and find out more about this resurrection.
