To family and friends my deepest sympathy for the loss of your loved one. Losing a loved one in death is very painful and Almighty God Jehovah (Psalms 83:18) knows the pain that you now have at this most difficult time. HE promises that those in the grave will live again right here on the earth. (Isaiah 26:19) This is what the Bible calls the resurrection. Jesus promised that there's going to be a resurrection of all those in the grave and they will hear his voice and come out at John 5:28,29. We're so sorry to hear you are mourning the recent loss of your loved one. May you find strength and comfort from the words of Psalms 46:1 which reads: "God is our refuge and strength, A help that is readily found in times of distress." Our loving God is there for us if we ask for his help (1 John 5:14). He didn't intend for us to grow old and die. He thus has made the SURE promise of a resurrection RIGHT HERE ON EARTH when it is restored to a beautiful paradise (Psalms 37:9-11, 29; Acts 24:15; Isaiah 55;11). Can you see yourself welcoming back to life your loved ones? What a joy it will bring all of us. You can go online to JW.ORG and find out more about this resurrection.

Please accept my condolences. Nothing compares to the death of a loved one. Even Jesus was deeply grieved and gave way to tears when his friend Lazarus died. Just as he brought him back to life then, he has promised to bring others back to life in the promised resurrection at John 5:28, 29. Knowing that there's hope even for our deceased loved ones can give us comfort and hope.
