It saddens us to know you are mourning the loss of your loved one. May you find strength and comfort from the words of Psalms 34:18. It reads: “Jehovah is close to the brokenhearted; He saves those who are crushed in spirit." Our loving God is there for us if we ask for his help (1 John 5:14). He didn't intend for us to grow old and die. He thus has made the SURE promise of a resurrection RIGHT HERE ON EARTH when it is restored to a beautiful paradise (Psalms 37:9-11, 29; Acts 24:15; Isaiah 55;11). What a joy it will be to welcome back to life your loved ones who are asleep in death!! You can go online to JW.ORG and find out more about this resurrection.

My heartfelt sympathy goes out to the family. No doubt this is a very difficult time for your family. The Bible speaks of death as an enemy that God’s kingdom will eliminate. Notice the wonderful promise for the future at 1 Cor.15:26“. And the last enemy, death, is to be brought to nothing.” God will remove death permanently. You can also find comfort in Jesus words at John 5:28-29 “The hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out.” May these scriptures bring comfort and calmness of heart to you at this time.

The lose of your love one Edward is a devastating experience and my deepest condolences are with you. However, our Heavenly Father is keenly aware of your sorrow and he offers comfort to your family. He comforts you with providing the resurrection hope to Edward. Our Heavenly Father sent his son Jesus who sacrificed his life in order that Edward and others who also entertsin this hope. The Bible confirms this hope as recorded at Acts 24:15 which states, “there is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and unrighteous”. During that time god will remember everything about Edward and bring him back. So,draw close to the god of all comfort, Jehovah because he will stregthen and sustain your family at this time of sorrow. ( for more info go to

God has resurrected humans in the past. The Bible reports eight instances of humans-young, old, male and female-who were brought back to life on earth. Some had been dead for a short while, but one had been dead in a tomb for four days!-John 11:39-44. While words fail to capture the pain of losing one, words will fail to capture the joy of having our heavenly Father return your dear one to you. Find out more by visiting our website
