Mr. Kenneth Wayne McIntyre, 58

Kenneth Wayne McIntyre was born to the late Raymond Lee McIntyre, Sr. and late Marie Rose Horne McIntyre, in Albany, GA on November 16, 1959. Kenneth was fondly known as “Wayne”. He passed away at his home in Quitman, GA on February 1, 2018.

Wayne joined First Bethesda Missionary Baptist Church, Albany, GA at an early age. He was a member of Mt. Hope Missionary Baptist Church, Quitman, GA. He graduated from Brooks County High School in 1978 and joined the U.S. Army. He is preceded in death by his parents and brother Raymond McIntyre, Jr.

Wayne’s legacy is cherished by his memories; wife Patricia McIntyre, Quitman, GA; step-son- Fred Jackson; sisters Gwendolyn (Casey) Arnold, Jacqueline McIntyre, Quitman, GA, Celestine (Henry) Bass, Willingboro, NJ; aunt Charity; uncle Willie D. Hampton; step-mother Lily McIntyre; Albany, GA; mother-in-law Betty Jackson, Quitman, GA; brothers-in-laws Woodrow (Audrey) Jackson, Alachua, FL, Tommy (Jackie) Jackson, Quitman, GA, Curtis Jackson, Valdosta, GA;  2 grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. One of many special friends Johnnie Aikens.

Funeral services were Saturday, February 10, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. at Mt. Hope Missionary Baptist Church in Quitman with Pastor Delvin Boatman officiating. Burial followed in the Oak Hill Cemetery in Quitman. Condolences may be made by visiting stevensmcgheefuneralhome.com  Stevens-McGhee Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
