MRS. FRANCES LEE BAGLEY WRIGHT, daughter of the late John and Frances Royster Bagley was born August 21, 1921 in Vance County, NC and departed this life suddenly April 20, 2018 at her residence in Palmer Springs, VA. At an early age she was baptized and joined Roanoke Chapel United Church of Christ. Frances attended school in Vance County, NC and Palmer Springs, VA. On May 31, 1939 she was married to the late Royal Lee Wright and to this union five children were born.  A daughter- Frances Elizabeth Wright preceded her in death. After marriage she later joined Jerusalem United Church of Christ and remained a member until death. Frances was a Mother first, always rearing and caring for the children in the community. In her spare time she loved to read her bible and watch Rev. David Jerimiah’s “Back to the Bible” episodes on TV. Frances leaves to mourn four children- Marjorie and devoted son-in-law, Henry Headen, South Hill, VA; Selma Bacote, Boydton, VA; Roy Irving Wright and Shirley (Joe) Dixon, all of South Hill, VA; 11 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren; 5 children she reared- devoted niece, Bernice and devoted great niece, Chrystal Allen of the home; Derrick Winns, Petersburg, VA; Erica Swinney, Fayetteville, NC and India Winns, South Hill, VA; sister-in-law, Bertha White, Boydton, VA;  devoted nephew- Thomas “T.J.” Jiggetts; devoted family and friend- Ronnie Alexander and Dea. Douglas Alexander, and a host of loving children she helped raised and a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and other friends.

    We deeply feel for what you and the family are going through. At times, there isn't much that can soothe the pain this grief brings, but you may find some comfort in the words of Psalms 9:9 which reads: "Jehovah will become a secure refuge for the oppressed, A secure refuge in times of distress." Yes, our Loving God can help if we allow him to (1John 5:14). He also has made the SURE promise of a resurrection right here on earth, when it is restored to a Paradise (Acts 24:15; Psalms 37:9-11,29). No, not just a dream, but for a certainty he will do it, for Isaiah 55:11 shows us that everything he says, he accomplishes without fail. You can find out more online at JW.ORG
