        A native of Gaston County, North Carolina, Mrs. Maggie Pagan Gingles was the daughter of the late, Hattie C. Kendrick.  

Mrs. Gingles was a dedicated and faithful member of First Congregational United Church of Christ in Kings Mountain, North Carolina where she served faithful on the choir, Women’s Fellowship and also as a church deaconess.

She attended Lincoln Academy, Kings Mountain, North Carolina and also studied at Gaston College, Dallas, North Carolina where she earned an Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education.  Ms. Gingles retired from the Gaston County Health Department in 1998.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Ray Gingles and son, Steven Lewis Ward.

Mrs. Gingles leaves to cherish precious memories one daughter, Robin Ward Antrum (Dennis) of Gastonia, N.C.; one daughter-in-law, Cynthia Ward of Gastonia, N.C.; one grandson, Zackery W. Antrum of Gastonia, N.C.; two sisters, Bernice P. Fox of New York and Wilma Pagan of Gastonia, N.C.; one brother, Randy Kendrick (Pam) of Gastonia, N.C.; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

VISITATION:
The family will receive friends at the church for thirty minutes prior to service.
(11:30 until 12:00 Noon)
