I would like to express my deepest sympathy to each of you. Death is an enemy that we have no controll over. Our heavenly Father however does. He will soon bring an end to this aged-old-enemy. He will swallow death up forever. Isaiah 25:8 Psalms 37:29

Dear Family of Virginia Kennedy: I am sorry for your loss. In times when I’ve lost a dear loved one, I’ve found the wonderful promise of God at Revelation 21:4 to be very comforting. It says, “And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry, nor pain be anymore the former things have passed away.” The Bible also gives us a hope of a resurrection for those we’ve already lost in death. Jesus said at John 5:28 “do not marvel at this because the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out.” We can be confident that this will happen in the near future because God has promised it! To understand why we grow old, get sick, and die, please visit www.jw.org. I hope this brings you comfort and encouragement. Sincerely, Jan Young

Accept our heartfelt sympathy in your recent loss. May you find strength and comfort from the words of Nahum 1:7 Which reads: “Jehovah is good, a stronghold in the day of distress. He is mindful of those seeking refuge in him.” Yes, our loving God is there for us if we allow him to help (1 John 5:14). He didn't intend for us to grow old and die. He thus has made the SURE promise of a resurrection RIGHT HERE ON EARTH when it is restored to a beautiful paradise (Psalms 37:9-11, 29; Acts 24:15; Isaiah 55;11). Can you see yourself welcoming back to life your loved ones? What a joy it will bring all of us! You can go online to JW.ORG and find out more about this resurrection.

Please accept my condolences. Death breaks into our lives often and we are completely unprepared. During this time we all need comfort. May your special memories and the support of family and friends carry you through the days ahead. It is especially comforting to know our Heavenly Father has promise to swallow up death forever and to wipe tears from our eyes. Isaiah 25:8
