Pat's VA family sends our deepest sympathy. I worked closely with Pat at the Dorn VA Medical Center. Pat was one of the most positive people I have ever known. We had such good times working together to take care of residents and staff in the Community Living Center. She was a wonderful nurse and a blessing to all of us. We all loved her deeply. Heaven has gained a beautiful angel.

Pat and I started working at the VA together on the same exact day in the same exact division. We became close buddies right away and she taught me about her love for turtles. When I asked her why she liked turtles so much she told me it’s because they take risk everyday sticking their necks out and she admired them for that. She was true to that as I certainly saw her to be sticking her neck out for people. She was as sweet and warm as a person can be and we’ll miss her.

We're so sorry to hear you are mourning the recent loss of your loved one. May you find strength and comfort from the words of Psalms 46:1 which reads: "God is our refuge and strength, A help that is readily found in times of distress." Our loving God is there for us if we ask for his help (1 John 5:14). He didn't intend for us to grow old and die. He thus has made the SURE promise of a resurrection RIGHT HERE ON EARTH when it is restored to a beautiful paradise (Psalms 37:9-11, 29; Acts 24:15; Isaiah 55;11). Can you see yourself welcoming back to life your loved ones? What a joy it will bring all of us. You can go online to JW.ORG and find out more about this resurrection.
