Mrs. Patricia Ann Jackson Thomas, 57

Patricia Ann (Jackson) Thomas, “Pat” passed away after a brief illness at South Georgia Medical Center in Valdosta, Georgia on April 24, 2018. 

Patricia was born November 27, 1960 in Quitman, Georgia to Betty (Hollis) Jackson and the late Thomas Jackson.  She was educated in Brooks County School System. Patricia  accepted Christ at an early age and became a member of the Church of Christ.

Along with her father, she was preceded in death by her brother Anthony “Jerome” Jackson, and long-time companion-spouse of 30 years, Kenneth McIntyre.

Patricia is survived by her son Frederick (Leonita) Jackson; two grandchildren, Yasman Jackson and Hyhana Jackson; her mother Betty Jackson all of Quitman, Georgia; brothers Woodrow (Audrey) Jackson, Alachua, Florida, Tommy (Jackie) Jackson, Quitman, Georgia, Curtis Jackson, Valdosta, Georgia; sisters-in-law Gwendolyn (Casey) Arnold, Jacqueline McIntyre, Celestine (Henry) Bass and a host of relatives and friends.

Funeral services were Saturday, May 5, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. at Shumate Street Church of Christ with Minister Tony Herring, Sr. officiating. Burial followed at Oak Hill Cemetery in Quitman. Condolences may be made by visiting  Stevens-McGhee Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
