A memorial service in honor of Rozlind Harrison Majeeb will be held Monday May 14, 2018 at 7pm at the former Robert E. Chavers Community Center Federal St. in Farrell, PA.  Rozlind departed this life Friday, May 4, 2018 (Ju’mah Day) after a brief battle with cancer.  Rozlind was born January 4, 1949 in Detroit, MI a daughter of Sadie Ward Benham and George Jenkins.   She relocated to the Shenago Valley many years ago and was a faithful member of the Nation of Islam, Mosque#9, Youngstown, OH.  She was active in her local community serving as a member of the Human Relations Commission of Mercer County and the Democratic Committee Woman of Mercer County.  She volunteered her time at the Shenango Valley Buhl Club and was a faithful vendor at the Annual Juneteenth Celebration.  She retired from WCJTPA after over ten years of loyal service.
She leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Charles Edward Harrison, Jr.(June); her  children, Omar DeShaun Harrison, Jamal Eli Harrison both of Farrell, PA, Charles Edward Kareem of Compton, CA, Qasim Tamir (Sarah) of Wheatland, PA; Lulu Bennett of Farrell, PA; her sisters, Gwendolyn (Eddie) Haynes of Compton, CA, Jacqueline (Richard)Walker of Farrell, PA, Cherish Benham of Compton, CA, Ricky’Ana Benham of Farrell,PA, Cachet Benham of Compton, CA; her step-sister, Sandra O’Connell of FL; her step-brothers, Eugene Keeling Newman of Sharon, PA and John L. Newman of CA; 13 Grandchildren; 2 Great-Grandchildren; a host of other relatives and dear friends.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Robert and Marie Ward; her parents; her sister, Williana Odhiambo(Bootsie); and her dear friend, Russell Bruce.

    Accept our heartfelt sympathy in your recent loss. May you find strength and comfort from the words of Nahum 1:7 Which reads: “Jehovah is good, a stronghold in the day of distress. He is mindful of those seeking refuge in him.” Yes, our loving God is there for us if we allow him to help (1 John 5:14). He didn't intend for us to grow old and die. He thus has made the SURE promise of a resurrection RIGHT HERE ON EARTH when it is restored to a beautiful paradise (Psalms 37:9-11, 29; Acts 24:15; Isaiah 55;11).
