Mae Pearl Lee-Richardson-McCarty was born July 4, 1933 in Statesboro, Georgia, to the parents of Dewey Lee and Mamie Favors Lee.  Growing up in Statesboro she attended Willow Hill Grade School and William James High School.  Mae Pearl furthered her education at Bethune-Cookman College in Daytona Beach, Florida.

 In 1954 she joined Greater Mt. Pleasant Primitive Baptist Church under the leadership of Elder S.P. Kilpatrick.  She was active in choir #1, Matrons Society, Sunday School Teacher, Deaconess Board, Mother’s Board, Pastors Aide Club, and the Church Financial Secretary.

 At 4:05am on May 3, 2018 the Lord called her to a new home not made by man.  She was preceded in death by her husband Elder Mitchell McCarty; her parents, Dewey and Mamie Lee; sisters, Zellaree McNatt, Alice Lee-King-Jones, Larus Lee, Hazel Lee–Lovett; and brother, Harvey Lee, Sr..

 She leaves loved ones to cherish the memories of her loving and caring life, her children:  Patricia Richardson-Drummond (Kenneth) of Ft. Pierce, FL, Rev. Dothan Richardson, III of Orlando, FL, Michael Richardson of Atlanta, GA, Timothy Richardson of Ft. Pierce, FL,  and Selina Richardson of Orlando, FL; eight grandchildren;  four great grandchildren; sisters, Bernice Eliga of St. Petersburg, FL and  Valleen Reeves of Ft. Pierce, FL;   brother, Willie Lee of Port St. Lucie, FL; daughter-in-law, Arnetha Richardson and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members and friends.

 Visitation will be held 3-7PM Friday May 11, 2018 at Stone Brothers Funeral Home, Ft. Pierce.  A Funeral service celebrating her Life will be held 11AM Saturday, May 12, 2018 at Greater Mount Pleasant Primitive Baptist Church, 2100 Avenue K, Ft. Pierce, FL.  Burial will immediately follow at Riverview Memorial Park.

    We deeply feel for what you and the family are going through.
