When someone we love dies the grief we experience can overwhelm us, and we may feel like there is no hope. God has both the power and the desire to bring those who have died back to life, he demonstrated that power while his son was on earth. Empowered by God, Jesus healed the sick, and resurrected the dead on many occasions. One of them is found at Mark 5:35-42 which says in part, "Your daughter died! Why bother the teacher any longer?"... But after sending them all outside, he took the child's father and mother and those with him, and he went in where the child was. Then, taking the hand of the child, he said to her: "Tal'itha cu'mi," which, when translated, means; "Little girl, I say to you get up!" And immediately the girl rose and began walking. (She was 12 years old.) And at once they were beside themselves with great ecstasy." In the near future Jehovah God will again bring those who have died back to life. Although your pain is great, there is hope for the future. May this hope comfort your grieving hearts.

Accept our sincere condolences in your recent loss. May you find some comfort in the words of Psalms 34:18 which reads: " Jehovah is close to the brokenhearted; He saves those who are crushed in spirit " Yes, we can ask for help and rely on God. He also has made the sure promise of a resurrection right here on earth when it is restored to a beautiful paradise. (Acts 24:15; Psalms 37:9-11, 29). Be confident that this is SURE to happen because Isaiah 55:11 ensures us of this. Find out more online at JW.ORG
