I am so sorry for the loss of your dear loved one. There is a very comforting scripture found at Isaiah 25:8. It says that soon Jehovah will swallow up death forever and that he will wipe away all of the tears. So we can look forward to a time when death will be done away with forever. I hope that this scripture can bring some comfort during this time.

To the Family. Please accept my sincere condolences. God's Word is a great source of comfort and hope during difficult times and Jehovah God 'the God of all comfort' (2 Corinthians 1:3) is fully aware of your sadness. Revelation 21:4 promises, "He will wipe out every tear" and will bring back to life those who sleep in death as Acts 24:15 promises, "There is going to be a resurrection.". Please be assured of these future events because God himself declares 'I am making all things new' and 'these words are faithful and true.' ~Revelation 21:5

I use to sit next to her each Sunday in church. It was a delight to see how she was just a lady at all times in the way she wore her suits and hats and high heel shoes and stockings and even gloves on occasion. She was truly the last of our dignified ladies of the church. Rest in peace Mrs. Byrdsong, I will always think of you as I now slide over to sit in your spot AMEN....

Please accept my heartfelt condolence on the loss of your dear one; Ms. Byrdsong. My family and I have found comfort in the Bible's promise of a time when death will be no more; - "And He (God) will wipe out every tear from their eyes and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away." - Revelation 21:4. May the memories of your loved one sustain you until God's promises are soon fulfilled - "For this is the will of my Father, that everyone who recognizes the Son and exercises faith in him should have everlasting life, and I will resurrect him on the last day."- John 6:40. Please visit for more of God's marvelous promises that 'is around the corner'.

I am grateful for the many times Cousin Elizabeth would call me and inquire about her first cousin my Mother, Louella, once she learned my mother had developed dementia 5 years ago. Louella turned 100 on March 21, 2018. I will truly miss hearing Elizabeth's voice on the phone providing me with encouragement and comfort. I know if my Mother was able to understand, she would be in Richmond at this time. May the many memories that you have shared with your Mother, Grandmother, Aunt and friend, provide comfort to all of you. May God bless all of you with His peace. Love, Cousin Beverly
