Mrs. Annie Frazier, 80

Mrs. Annie Ruth Frazier was born on March 29, 1937 to the late Cleo Raines Christopher in Grooverville, Georgia.  She was educated in the Grooverville Public School system. She studied cosmetology in Philadelphia, attended four years of Sons of Isreal Seminary School in New Jersey and was a Certified Nurses Aide in New Jersey. She was employed through private duty at Greenbriar Nursing Home and Pine Crest Nursing Home.

Mrs. Annie Ruth Frazier accepted Christ at an early age and was a member of Simmon Hill Missionary Baptist Church in Dixie, Georgia.  She was very active in the church.  She taught bible study at the Bishop Foundation in Quitman, Georgia.

She was united in holy matrimony to the late Robert B. Frazier in 1957.  Once a resident of Philidelphia, Paulsboro, NJ and Valdosta, GA, she moved back to Quitman, Georgia and became a resident at the Presbyterian Home of Quitman.  She passed on February 24, 2018.  Along with her husband, she was preceded in death by one daughter Annette Frazier.

She leaves to cherish her memory; one son, Ronald Frazier (LaTonya); grandchildren, Kendall Rogers (Julie), Tiffany Frazier, Nicole Frazier, Nichelle Bennett (Kevin), Ronald Frazier, Jr.; one great grandchild, Hadassah Joi Rogers and one great grandchild on the way, Baby Bennett; siblings, Joel Raines (Cathy), Valdosta, GA, Robert Raines (Polly), Miami, FL, Ada Mae Parker (Marshall), Delaware,   Cleesther Davis, Tampa, FL, John Christopher (Geraldine), Tampa, FL and a host of relatives and friends.

Funeral services were Tuesday, March 6, 2018 at 10:00 A.M. at Simmon Hill Missionary Baptist Church in Dixie with Pastor James Huewitt officiating. Burial followed in the church cemetery. Condolences may be made by visiting  Stevens-McGhee Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
