Shirlee Inez Malloch, 81, passed away at Mountain View Regional Medical Center on May 14, 2018.  Shirlee was born on September 8, 1936 in Levelland, Texas to John and Minnie (Dykes) Hendon.  A resident of Elephant Butte for the past 14 years, Shirley was a retired Medical Assistant and a member of the American Medical Assistant’s Association. Shirlee enjoyed raising her roses at home, and took many first-place winner ribbons at the Sierra County Fair for her roses.  She is survived by her husband, James Malloch of Elephant Butte, New Mexico; her son, Michael & wife, Julia Kennedy of Tijeras, New Mexico; daughters-in-law, Julie Ann Subidur of Denver, Colo; Janet Lee Lyons & husband, William of Nebraska; Ranaeay Lynn Day of Dayton, Ohio; and son-in-law, Robert Shawn & wife, Christina Malloch of Ocean Springs, Mississippi and numerous grandchildren.   She was preceded  in  death  by Francis Edward Kennedy and Michelle Kennedy both of Michigan.  Cremation will take place and a Memorial Service will be held later.     We're so sorry to hear you are mourning the recent loss of your loved one. May you find strength and comfort from the words of Psalms 46:1 which reads: "God is our refuge and strength, A help that is readily found in times of distress." Our loving God is there for us if we ask for his help (1 John 5:14). He didn't intend for us to grow old and die. He thus has made the SURE promise of a resurrection RIGHT HERE ON EARTH when it is restored to a beautiful paradise (Psalms 37:9-11, 29; Acts 24:15; Isaiah 55;11).
