I am so sorry for the loss of your dear loved one. There is a very comforting scripture found at Isaiah 25:8. It says that soon Jehovah will swallow up death forever and that he will wipe away all of the tears. So we can look forward to a time when death will be done away with forever. I hope that this scripture can bring some comfort during this time.

To the Mingo Family. May you receive the comfort and tender mercies from God who promises to deliver all those experiencing trials. (2 Corinthians 1"3-4) You will agree that loosing Jesse in death is a true trial. God promises to give you the strength to get through the tough days ahead through his words at Psalms 55:22, "throw your burdens on him and he will sustain you." Your father was a treasured friend of my family. He was a very distinguished person when it came to knowledge and wisdom. He would challenge us to give him any word in the dictionary and he would define it. It was never a time when he failed. He was very kind and generous with his love and kindness always willing to help without prompting. He always displayed a father-like demeanor. I look forward to seeing Jesse again for Jehovah God promises that it will be a resurrection of the dead and they will experience what true life was from the very beginning. Jesse will be able to explore creation and expound on his abilities to gather knowledge and share it with others as he so dearly enjoyed. (John 5:28-29) God has the power and desire to bring these things about. (Isaiah 55:10-11) Until then, do not hesitate to pour out your heart to God in prayer for he is the best listener for he never sleeps or never too busy to listen to those calling on him. (Psalms 65:2) As the days linger and you have time to meditate on your fond memories of Jesse, follow these instructions, take out your copy of the Bible, meditate on the scriptures quoted above, pray for wisdom and experience the true peace and lasting comfort that only Jehovah God can give. If you desire more comforting direction please go to you will not be disappointed!

We deeply feel for what you and the family are going through. At times, there isn't much that can soothe the pain this grief brings, but you may find some comfort in the words of Psalms 9:9 which reads: "Jehovah will become a secure refuge for the oppressed, A secure refuge in times of distress." Yes, our Loving God can help if we allow him to (1John 5:14). He also has made the SURE promise of a resurrection right here on earth, when it is restored to a Paradise (Acts 24:15; Psalms 37:9-11,29). No, not just a dream, but for a certainty he will do it, for Isaiah 55:11 shows us that everything he says, he accomplishes without fail. You can find out more online at JW.ORG

God cares for the brokenhearted; Psalm 34:18 assures us that he is close to them. Psalm 147:3 says: "He heals the brokenhearted; He binds up their wounds". Please accept my sincere condolences. Always remember God loves you and he cares for you! (Psalm 36:7; 1 Peter 5:7)
