O Jehovah, you have given us a hope that we hold dear.  It's a hope we find so thrilling we want the world to hear.  But at times this life's anxieties are the cause of fears within, And the hope that burned so brightly has suddenly grown dim.... 

Ms. Helen P. McKinnon of Valdosta Georgia passed from this walk of life on Sunday, May 13, 2018.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, May 21, 2018 at 11:00 am at The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses (North Forrest Street) – Brother Jackie Moore will give discourse, burial will follow in the Southview Cemetery.

    We deeply feel for what you and the family are going through. At times, there isn't much that can soothe the pain this grief brings, but you may find some comfort in the words of Psalms 9:9 which reads: "Jehovah will become a secure refuge for the oppressed, A secure refuge in times of distress." Yes, our Loving God can help if we allow him to (1John 5:14). He also has made the SURE promise of a resurrection right here on earth, when it is restored to a Paradise (Acts 24:15; Psalms 37:9-11,29).
